I led a team to develop Crowd Sourced News - a platform for to open the news is written by the public. We created a wiki style of editing where everyone has a say of what gets put in the articles.

Wrote Feasability Study about Discord

January 2021

I wrote a feasability study exploring Discord's use as a communication tool for both enterprise and education. I compared the product's functionality to Slack and Teams, to examine its strengths and shortcomings.

Developed Search for a Cure

December 2020

Built my first video game, "Search for a Cure". It is a 2D infinite side scroller that has procedurally generated chunks that spawn random terrain and enemies.

Served as BizOps Advisor for FreeEats

October 2020

Did advising for an early-stage food sharing app, FreeEats. Helped the team develop a launch strategy, pricing model, and inital pitch deck as it prepared for a launch early the next year.

Founded WashU's Valorant Team

September 2020

I moved from Overwatch to start a varsity Valorant program for WashU. I was able to recruit 12 highly skilled players, and in our first semester, we had two teams competing against universities around the country.

At the culmination of the summer, Practicum held a showcase of the partnered companies that participated in our program. I served as the host, introduced each of the projects, and revealed our company's next steps.

Technical Advisor for Runaway App

July 2020

I served as a technical mentor for the the Runaway mobile app- a hub for all things mental health. I helped guide the direction of the product, prioritized features and set the sprint goals.

I started as a Software Engineering Intern working with both the product and data engineering team. I added analytics to the H1 platform to help our product team make decisions, and QA checks to the data pipeline to reduce the risk of a faulty run.

Founded Practicum

May 2020

I founded Practicum with the help of six friends, a program that empowers a community of students to work on meaningful projects and develop industry skills. Our first class had 80+ students working on eight projects. I served as a technical mentor for a project, as well as the CO-CEO of the company.

With two of my friends, I wrote a paper exploring the statistics behind what actually makes songs popular on Spotify. It turns out that artist popularity and dancablility are contributing factors in making a song blow up.

Project Covid Partners with LFR International

April 2020

After the release of our alpha build, Project Covid needed to find a partner to publish the app. I reached out to LFR International and negotiated the terms of our MoU. LFR provided oversight on what resources we should offer and helped us get our beta released to the public.

Wrote Article About Esports Landscape

April 2020

I wrote an article addressing the evolution of the Esports industry, looking at where it was in early 2020 as well as highlighting the impact of franchised teams and the tradeoffs of having a localized league.

Founded Project Covid

March 2020

I founded Project Covid, a mobile app that aggregated information regarding COVID-19. I was the technical lead and the head of product, managing 12 engineers to finish the app's development in two months. I prioritized what features to implement and meet with users to get feedback on their experience.

Developed RedditSense

January 2020

I built RedditSense, a Python bot that assigns a sentiment score to Reddit comments. This bot was handy for my fraternity's rush cycle, as it helped add quantitative values to a very qualitative process.

2019

Became Risk Manager of Alpha Delta Phi

December 2019

As Risk Manager, I rehauled how the internal responsible contact system. I developed a points-based tracking system to add incentives for taking an RC shift. This system helped ensure the safety of 3,600 guests at events.

Developed Spikefinder

November 2019

I created SpikeFinder, a single page web app that helps students find groups to play Spikeball with. I developed the project in React and built a fully functioning API using an Express server.

Reinstated Chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon

October 2019

I restored WashU's previously deactivated chapter of UPE, a computer science honorary. As Vice President of Education, I developed a curriculum to teach new members computer science and recruiting skills.

Became Captain of WashU's Overwatch Team

September 2019

As captain of WashU Esport's Overwatch team, I advanced our varsity team to Division 1 status. I overhauled our roster so that everyone would be in their most comfortable role, and developed new strategies for the Double Shield Meta.

Learned to DJ

As an avid electronic music fan with a lot of free time, I decided to teach myself how to DJ through YouTube videos. Mixing has since become one of my favorite hobbies, and I love finding new song combinations.

I started as a Software Engineering intern at Alvarez & Marsal, working with their Data Forensics team. I developed an internal tool for the group that found new opportunities through web scrapping.

Captained Team in Overwatch Open Division

I created an Overwatch team that competed in the Open Division during the GOATs meta. I played as our Flex Support and ran multiple tryouts to find the optimal roster.

Became Webmaster for Delta Sigma Pi

I was elected to be Webmaster of DSP, a business fraternity at WashU. I modernized our external-facing landing page and managed our internal brotherhood and alumni databases.

One of the first clubs I joined at WashU was the esports and gaming club. I tried out as a DPS for the Overwatch roster and practiced weekly with the team.

Served as a producer for Katie Brown's latest project, Big Life TV. I edited and gave feedback regarding the content on the show, as well as scheduled programming for the online stream that operated 24/7.

Coached Overwatch Teams for Five Deadly Venoms

I became the head coach for the Five Deadly Venoms' four Open Division Overwatch teams. The team's skills ranged from Gold to Grandmaster, and I facilitated weekly internal practices. 5DV is the fan club for the New York Excelsior.

I built a landing page to promote Katie Brown's latest book, Dare to See. The site was created with Wordpress, and I developed business strategies for the release of multiple faith based projects.

FCIAC Esports League Merges with EGF

November 2017

I spearheaded a merger between FCIAC Esports and EGF, a national high school esports league. I worked with them to integrate the FCIAC Esports league as a division in their Connecticut league.

Hunter's Eye Partners with RHS Varsity Football

September 2017

Hunter's Eyes Production partnered with RHS' varsity football team. Using data from Hudl, I generated reports about opponents' offensive tendencies. During the game I would track statistics to see if the trends were being followed.

Founded FCIAC Esports League

February 2017

I founded and served as the commissioner of the FCIAC Esports league, overseeing each of the four game commissioners. The league was a coalition of eight high schools that competed in League of Legends, Overwatch, CS:GO, and Hearthstone.

As the Ridgefield High School Smite team captain, I lead our team to qualify and compete in the Eager Saturalina tournament. We competed against the top pro players for $10,000.

Founded RHS Esports Club

I founded the RHS Esports club, which quickly grew to become one of the most popular clubs at my school. In our first year, we grew to 80+ members and had six teams compete around the country.

I played libero for my high school volleyball team. During my four year tenure, we won two state championships and were nationally ranked.

Founded Hunter's Eye Production

I founded Hunter's Eye Technology, my own LLC that I operated for seven years. The company focused on filming and editing youth sports and grossed $15,000 in revenue. Our primary clients were youth and high school coaches, as well as athletes looking to be recruited.
